March 13, 2004--The barcode system, known as PEST ASSURANCE is a Service and Quality Control tool. It helps Doherty Environmental to deliver the guaranteed service that customers demand and deserve while offering a number of additional benefits to satisfy business and regulatory needs efficiently.

How does it work? Barcodes are attached to every single inspection point within a clients premises. The service person visits the premises with a handheld PDA and scanner and during service scans each inspection point. When the service is complete the scanned information is uploaded to a web server and the client can log on anywhere in the world and get specific information and reports. Areas of infestation, type of infestation , housekeeping issues and much more can be reported on.
